True Companions and Good Dog! School: Medford and Ashland Group Dog and Puppy Classes

Our group classes at the Good Dog! School are flexible and family-oriented, giving you the opportunity to work at your own pace, include other family members and to work around your busy schedule. Never miss a class you paid for; make-ups are available if made within the time-frame of your Training Pass. Beginning classes teach basic skills and manners while our advanced classes provide the added safety of off-leash control.

Appropriate for dogs and puppies of all ages and skill levels...No matter what your dog or puppy already knows, our skills-based program will provide the opportunity to advance to the class most suitable for your dog. Our classes are designed in a series of levels that set you up for success while providing challenge and motivation. Spend only as much time as you need to meet the skills requirements in beginning levels before moving up to advanced levels. You won't waste time in classes below the skill level of your dog.

The best start for a new puppy...If you have a new puppy, the best time to begin training is right away. Puppies under five months are at a crucial period developmentally and are more easily trained than when they become adolescents and adults. If your puppy is under 5 months old, check out our Puppy Kindergarten Classes. Once you have passed the skills in puppy classes, you will skip Doggie Grade School, moving directly into Doggie Middle School.

Fees:
Begin with a two-month Training Pass, $160 and your training text, $22. A ten-dollar discount is given to those who register online with our Standard Enrollment that includes a two-month Pass and basic class supplies. After the end of the two months you will have the option to renew your Training Pass and continue in our training program.

Class content:
Our clients want their dogs to be happy, safe, and well-mannered. In addition to basic skills like sit, stay, and down, we will be teaching our dogs to greet people politely without jumping on them, walk comfortably on a leash without pulling, and reliably come when called, no matter what the distraction.
